About Me
Biography
Teegan Schriock graduated with a bachelor's degree in theatre from Idaho State University in the spring of 2021. During her time at ISU, she received instrumental training and numerous opportunities in both acting and technical positions. A few of her favorite roles included; #46 in The Wolves, Lilly in Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, and Thing 2 in The Cat in the Hat. Schriock additionally stage managed Ordinary Days, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and assistant stage managed for Three Days of Rain.
While still in school, Schriock gained professional experience by performing in and stage managing ISU’s College of Arts and Letters New Years Galas; acting in a medical simulation for ISU’s College of Health Sciences; and portraying the role of dietitian for Rumfory Media KDHS Commercial. Schriock also stage managed ISU’s College of Arts and Letters Summer Musical, Bye Bye Birdie. Furthermore, Schriock was published in the Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research for her academic article in regards to the lack of educational arts funding.
Schriock is also a devoted theatre educator. Her time spent working as a theatre youth instructor at the Leavitt Center and Missoula Children's Theatre has fueled her desire to continue to cultivate young aspiring artists. She has additionally had the honor to work under the guidance of Vanessa Ballam. During her time at ISU, Schriock was granted the opportunity to serve as Ballam's assistant teacher for a Fundamentals of Acting Class. Ultimately, Schriock plans to earn her master's in theatre so that she may teach at the higher education level to inspire and encourage young artists similar to her mentor.
Overall, Schriock possesses a deep passion and willpower to better the world through her art. She aims to explore any and every avenue in which she can collaborate to create something that will lead to a positive and influential impact.
